My favorite solution for lowering your blood pressure in just a few days
8 Clinically Proven Foods That Lower High Blood Pressure
However, the good news is that there are about 8 specific foods that are clinically proven to work… IF you take the right kind and the correct amounts.
Raw Garlic Cloves
Garlic has many health benefits, especially for your heart and one of them is lowering high blood pressure.
However, for it to really work you need to consume at least 3, RAW cloves of garlic daily. Unfortunately, the problem here is that your breath and body is going to smell.
I tried everything with my parents, including taking herbal garlic supplements — same problem.
And if the garlic supplement says “odorless”, then it doesn’t work because the key extracts such as “allicin” is removed.
Tree Nuts – Cashews and Almonds
Tree nuts, and NOT peanuts, which come from the ground — are linked with many metabolic health benefits.
Almonds and cashews really stand out, particularly when it comes to metabolic problems such as high blood pressure.
This is because they contain high levels of magnesium, a mineral the most of us are deficient in. And a lack of magnesium is strongly linked to high blood pressure.
Just make sure that these nuts are eaten RAW — not “roasted”, which negatively changes the fat structure. Of course, not salted either.
And be mindful of how many you eat because each almond or cashew is about 15 calories, so they can quickly make you fat if you don’t pay attention.
Celery is great for lowering elevated blood pressure and works similarly to “Calcium channel blocking” drugs…
which are designed to lower blood pressure.
But celery has NO negative side-effects and it’s very low in calories, so it’s great all around.
The only problem is for it to be really effective, you’d have to eat at least 5 POUNDS of the stuff daily.
So if you can juice it, that’s great.
If not, my suggestion is to take Celery Seed Extract (42.5% phthalides)… one pill is the equivalent of eating 50 lbs of celery.
That’s why it works so well and one of my favorite solutions!
English Hawthorn Berries
There’s a special form of English Hawthorn Berry Extract that is clinically shown to improve blood pressure levels 17% in only 6 weeks.
One additional (and major) benefit is that it also helps regulate your body’s stress response, including lowering the stress hormone, Cortisol.
This is very important because many times our blood pressure goes up when we’re under extra STRESS and English Hawthorn Berries deals with this effectively.
You would need to eat at least one cup of it daily. Don’t bother drinking it because many of the benefits are in the skin as well.
However, a faster and easier way is to simply take the extract form of it in a pill, which is the equivalent of 3 cups of berries.
Pomegranate is an amazing fruit with so many health benefits, especially for lowering high blood pressure.
Forget about drinking the juice because it’ll shoot up your insulin levels which will indirectly increase your blood pressure.
Best to have the actual fruit.
Or if you don’t have the time to do this daily, you can use Pomegranate Extract in a pill, which is clinically proven to lower blood pressure by 12% in 30 days
Tomatoes have many benefits — they help with your eyes, prostate and lowering blood pressure.
The main reason being the Lycopene extract found in specific forms of tomato seeds.
Grape seeds are fantastic seeds and are more effective for improved heart health than Olive Oil.
For salad dressing, I suggest using grape seed oil. But don’t cook with it because it negatively changes the chemical structure of the fat.
What’s even more effective is a patented form of Grape Seed EXTRACT that’s clinically proven to lower your blood pressure 14 pts in only 30 days.
Finally there’s a vegetable called Beetroot. This helps vasodilate and open up your arteries for improved blood flow and lower blood pressure levels.
