    Hi Bettina,
    I don't usually send emails to the bloggers that I follow, but here goes… thanks for noting the option to do so πŸ™‚

    My name is Julia and I'm turning 36 this year. My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for ~1.5 years now.
    We met each other later in life and so got married a little bit later (I was 34 he was 37), and given the knowledge out there about the difficulties of getting pregnant, we decided to start trying right away.

    Sure enough, we fell into the statistical group of "fertility challenged" couples. We got in touch with fertility specialists (both of the naturopathic version as well as the medical) relatively quickly since by that time I was already 35 and we had been trying for close to a year. My blood work had placed me in the "low ovarian count" group, plus having low progesterone, and so naturally, our anxiety levels shot through the sky (so ironic that you have to "stay calm" to get pregnant, but the whole process is nothing but! haha).

    We had gone through some IUI procedures without success, and then I came across your "two week wait" yoga video on youtube. Let me tell you, that video had changed me completely. My perception, beliefs, just overall attitude, became so much more agreeable. And I'm happy to say that I got my first positive pregnancy test this week.

    It's still super super early and I know that anything can change at the blink of an eye, but I'm so hopeful and I'm now doing your "1st trimester" yoga sets on youtube. I also take a progesterone supplement everyday and I also do some pregnancy supportive acupuncture. Just trying to keep the body and mind calm and staying positive. So I think I have a pretty good regimen going. Praying for the best!

    I thank you so much for the wonderful content that you share. It has helped me so much and I look forward to following your segments as my pregnancy progresses.
